My Story
I LOVE photographs and I LOVE color. I love a good quote whether it's inspirational, faith-based or from one of my favorite movies. So to me, Life Truly is a Journey and Home is Where Your Story Begins.
Growing up in a relatively small town, I was always creating things. My mother taught me how to sew at a very young age. I took up embroidery and then later photography in college. (Yes, I still have an Art Box and a portfolio as my husband of 20+ years still teases me about to this day).
I have been deeply blessed and living the Creative Life. Literally! I have been fortunate to turn the Creative Life into my whole life!!! For the past two decades I have been doing the 24/7 thing working as a Buyer in corporate America creating clothing and home décor for major national specialty retailers.
With this profession came the opportunity to travel the world from NYC... to Europe...to all over Asia. For both business and pleasure, I have lived that Planes, Trains, and Automobile life. It's amazing how traveling can not only help you grow, but also change your perspective about life!
I will always be an explorer at heart whether I am just people watching in a major city around the world or hunting locally for my next Flea Market Find. However, there is nothing like unlocking the door and coming home. Don't stress over your space.
Whether you are buying your first home, have already closed on your second or not moving at all and just need to change it up, I believe in transforming spaces! Let me walk with you and discuss options to change your current SPACE or buy a new SPACE to call HOME. (Speaking of home, I have three adorable kids that were never too shy to put their own unique touch on their room! Can everyone say CRAYON! Lol!)
I am passionate about living a colorful life! I love a good POP of COLOR and I love to change things up. Ya, I kinda am one of those that decorate by theme and by season. I love a good Kids Room Challenge. Whether bringing home a newborn or converting a Toddler's Room into a Tween Room and then into a Teenage Sanctuary, "I GOT THIS!" I have always been painting, framing photos, and even have gutted and remodeled homes in the wee hours of the night. ALLOW ME! Your project is my specialty. I also am a Licensed Real Estate Agent in the State of Texas so house hunting, house flipping and home organization are all up my alley.
Outside of making things or going places, I am into a good movie, love yoga, swimming lap after lap, listening to music, attending all of my children’s sporting events, framing a Disney Day memory and MOST LIKELY you will find me outdoors on a good day. I have to have me some Vitamin D or Vitamin Sea or BOTH!
My goal is to work with you to create Your Happy Place: HOME! I’d love to help you with solutions and ideas to put your mark on the world no matter how BIG or SMALL your space is.
